I have a very old .32 revolver with no model number and a serial number of 71504. Can someone help better identify this?

That is what is commonly referred to as a Smith & Wesson "Lemon Squeezer" or Safety Hammerless revolver. They were made from about 1888 until WWII. Made in both 32 and 38 S&W chambering. Not sure about the birth date.

Hi LeeB,
You have a first model Safety Hammerless .32 S&W that were made from 1888-1902 serials 1 to 91417. Yours would have been made in the late 1890's.

You have a 32 Safety Hammerless, 1st Model. They were mfg from 1888-1902, the s/n range was 1 - 91417. I would estimate yours to be from late 1900 to 1901. Est value in condition shown 150-200, if fully operational.
