I now see how this "pandemic" is about to effect me.

I was questioning the S&W site about getting some work done on a flat latch model 36 3" that needs some tender care and a bit of custom work.

I was sent a form 'E' mail stating they are not accepting any new work.

And they want me to contact them when they change their mind.

Funny but I am getting Kimber to send me a form to return a Kimber to them for a quick fix.

I fail to see the reason for one and not the other willing & able to take on work that requires NO contact between workers.

just my rant for today.

Depending on where the facility is they can be extremely short staffed with stay at home orders in place. As much as You are I might be living life as normal .. there are a bunch of places in the US under strict lockdown and they just may not have the staff to properly communicate or tradesman to do the work
