Well, I'm back.
Didn't find any S&Ws (that I could afford anyway).
There were some really fine but very pricey older revolvers.
I did find a very nice project piece Colt M1917 to restore:

Apparently it was shipped from Colt on January 31, 1918 To Springfield Armory in a shipment of 8600 revolvers, Army serial numbers 21701 to 30300.
I wonder if it saw service in Europe?

Reproduction grips from Altamont should arrive Tuesday.

Was the cylinder replaced in 45 colt? Looks like theres not much room there for 45acp in clips.
