Hello, I have a number of years with auto pistols and wanted to try out a wheel gun. I live in California so my options are a little restricted. I am specifically looking for a model 617, 6" barrel, 10 shot. I have not found one in my local after several months of looking. I recently found one in northern Ca. but the price was outrageous.
Can anyone recommend a source out-of-state that I acquire one of these through? I have an FFL.

They are not cheap guns and hold there values well.But I would look through guns of america.com and guns international for a start. If you want to bid on one ,gunbroker.com , auction arms .com. E-bang .com has multiple listings of auctions also.
There is a company in spokane washington called Jensen Byrd that distributes guns and ammo etc all over the pacific northwest.I worked in a sporting goods store for about a year many years ago and that is where we got all our guns. You might look them up and be able to get a good deal having a FFL.
