One of our local stores bought out someone's S&W collection. They had lots of cool stuff, some really nice some with problems. No boxes or extra mags with any of them, so they weren't prized collectibles.
There was a nice 39-2 with a stainless or chrome, finish. It looked good on the outside, The mag in it was all rusty. They had a nice 64 4" service revolver, but the barrel looked like a plowed field of clay and mud.
There was a nice 41, long barrel, compensator, priced at a grand. A very nice 28-2, 6" barrel, with clean barrel and tight lock up.
Lots of others but, obviously, the one I took home was a model 645. Just one mag, with yellow follower. It's clean inside and out. The action and trigger feel smooth and the finish doesn't have any bad scratches on it.
Anyone know when it was made, the serial number is TBW700x.
I'll have to look around for another mag now.

I took the 645 to the range today. It is a sweet shooter. It functioned perfectly, it was accurate and kind of soft shooting for a 45.
I also had a 659 that I picked up recently. It is also a great shooter. I had alot of fun at the range.
