well i don't know alot about it really....it was my dad's originally and he left it to me when he passed away back in september. I can tell you that it's a modernish version of the model 1890, this rifle was made between 1932-1959. So as it sits now, it's at least 40 yrs old but it works like its about 4 yrs old. I do know that my dad bought it brand new when he was a kid and if my memory serves me right, he said he paid $17 for it back in the late 50's.c pierce said:Hi rich that model 62 sounds real interesting. yeah I cant bring myself to ever do that that i forsee in the future....it meant alot to me that he gave it to me and theres nothing that would force me into selling it for any price...sentimential value of something is far greater then any amount of moneyc pierce said:Rich What ever you do don't ever sell that 62.
