Been thinking about getting a wide spur hammer and wide trigger on my 3" LH 610. It came with the narrow. Was wondering if anyone has had experience with this conversion.

I stopped at a highly regarded gunsmith in Orange County CA, Bolsa Gunsmithing, and his estimate seemed pretty reasonable. To me this is semi-major surgery, so I want to have some input for my decision to go or not.

Sorry, I never noticed your post...
I never messed with a 10mm, but an N frame is an N frame. Call S&W for the new hammer assembly & trigger. Try and get one for the same revision number as I don't know what revision # you have.

It should just swap out. Just take the stirrup off and place it on the new hammer (hooks the spring). Remove the hand & spring and place it on the new trigger. Most likely a 10 minute job, from grips off to on. Check the FAQ for removal instructions. If all else fails, then just put the original parts back in, no harm or damage done.
