Just curious if anyone can give me any more info. on these pair of grips I picked up? I was told from the seller they were walnut, but thats all I "know". I would just like to know more about them and if they are just run of the mill or something worth while? Still learning! Thanks everyone! Also, only thing I can find stamped on them is the number 6 on the bottom of the one grip. They are silver washers. And compared to the goncalo alves grips I have, these seem alot lighter in color! Thanks all!

N-Frame Targets... Mid-to-late 1970's walnut is my guess....
I guess I should add, I got these for $19.50 shipped, so whatever they are, I am happy with them
Drew is right...walnut.
You are in good shape...$ 19.50 shipped is a good price.

These would be right at home on any Model 28 or 58.... they were the "Second Tier" or Service N-Frames at the time and got walnut.... top shelf guns like 29's, 57's, sometime 27's and 25's got Goncalo or Rosewood.

$20 is a very good price.... I haven't bought any N-Targets for that price since the 1990's....

Thanks! I knew I got them for a good price because I didnt know what I was getting. It was sorta a risk/reward type deal I took

Congratulations! You got a nice pair of grips at a great price. I can’t even remember the last time I got a nice pair of S&W grips for less than 20 bucks, even junk will cost you more than that now!
Yep realy good buy. Go look in e-bay under smith and wesson wood grips and you will see what a realy good deal you got. And they look to be in realy nice shape to.
