so I CAN NOT find anything on this new s&w I got. im hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I acquired a s&w 341 .22 magnum. 6 shot revolver 2 inch barrel nichol. It shoots great but loud lol. I can not find anything on the internet about this one. like it was never made. anyone?

hmm.. model 34 is a 22LR although it is possible that a magnum cylinder was fitted to it..


post a picture please..

That is a nickel model 34-1. Someone fitted a magnum cylinder to it and ground off the long rifle caliber marking on the side of the barrel.

The "22 Magnum" marking on right side doesn't look factory to me. What, I wonder, would be the purpose of a 2" 22 Mag besides splitting eardrums?

Would have made much more sense to just leave the frame unmolested and use dual cylinders, didn't S&W offer to fit an extra WMR cylinder back in the day?

It looks like a .22lr Model 34-1 reamed out to .22 magnum w/ new chambering stamped on the side.
