I've spoted a 5" S-prefix 27-2 and wanted some input on price. Serial is S311XXX, so it's a 1968 or 1969 gun. It is in 97-98% with no box or tools, but does have what appears to be factory correct targets. What do you suppose this gun is worth. I passed...for now.

Auction gun could go for more , you know how that goes .

Shop guns up here Ive seen go for between $700 to $800 and they were 6 and 6 1/2 guns in great shape .
And you know how the S ser# guns go !!

Yeah I'd say over $700 as well.
I think the 5" is the best field gun I've had a few, kinda miss 'em.
