Very nice, gentlemen!
gtivan, to answer your question regarding the stocks, YES those are period correct. The football cut-out was introduced in 1955 (if my memory serves me correctly). You'll notice that my 5 screw (made in 1954) does not have the football cutout.
Those are both VERY nice revolvers gentlemen! Thanks for the photos!
Nice doublesharp! What year was she born in?
Thanks toro. Mine is s1732xx mfg 1956-57 and it's my favorite shooter. 5" N frame really floats my boat. :D
David Holcomb and he's still doing fine. Newfyman is his buddy and handles his holster and knife sales. Two of my favorite people.
Those are some fine looking wheelguns!!
I'm not much of a .357 man but I cant knock this one any...

that's a beauty, revorg. Hard to improve on that.
Not a 4 screw but a 27 (-2) and a 5 inch and my all time favorite 357.

Actually,it's David Newcomb. I have several of his holsters also, and one of his knives as well. Back to the thread, here's a 4 screw pre-27 that I've had for a while. Bought it for $400 OTD. The kicker is that it came with a set of Sanderson thumbrest targets which I later sold for $275.

Of course it is. I've got several holsters and several of his knives too. Since the thread is drifting let me post a couple of pictures of his work.

I have 3 pieces of Mr. Newcombs work as well. I'll try to take a pic later.
