Was looking at the T/C web site and noticed this little gem;
Notice to all California Customers:
As of April 9, 2009 Thompson/Center can no longer send repairs directly to the customer.
All repairs must go to an FFL holder per California law.
I found nothing on the S&W web site conserning this, but it does say
Please call or e-mail us using the information at the top of the page before shipping!!
Has anyone in Ca. had to send a gun to the mfg. since April?
I hope this is not an example of whats to come

Azmick, don't you know that the rest of the states should model themselves after CA. After all the most important people in the world live in CA. I hear it all the time that how Austin uses San Francisco's example of how a city should be run. Today at a local gunstore I heard them saying CA will no longer do ammo through the mail it has to go through an FFL and be bought FTF with a thumbprint. Don't know if it is true but would not put it past CA to do it. thepuke

I'm headed there next week for work ' klmgzdo;
