Great post! I've spent years holding the L-Frame Smith & Wesson revolvers in contempt due to the full lugged barrel but, after reading a post by Stephen Camp a few months back, feel I ought to at last add an example to the menagerie. I'm drawn to the fixed sight versions. I think a 4-inch might be a real treat.

Though I have a number of adjustable sighted Smith & Wesson models I like their fixed sight models really well. No muss, no fuss.
