I hope this in the right forum. I have a Smith & Wesson model 52 with no dash. serial number 50xxx. under the left hand grip engraved into the frame is "William Clark Saginaw Mich". can anyone tell me the history o this gun was it engraved by Smith & Wesson was that even offered.
