Bill, you're right, those old stocks do look cool! Nice picture. You might try some "Oxy-clean" if you want to get that blue color out of your favorite rock! nfiofnp

There is just something special about the 25-5 in 4". Here's mine. It's my November woods gun when I'm chasing Maine whitetails.

Here she is dressed for field use

And in fancier dress.

Bill, That's a good 90-95% shooter, much like my collection of rather common S&W's.. If you can't shoot and enjoy......there's no sense in buying them.....I always say. ;) It just isn't 99%+, like the others you own. It would be interesting to see the guns that you actually do shoot. Perhaps another thread???? voteyes Bob

I've posted this one before. It's my favorite revolver. Based on what I've seen here and on other forums, the 4" 25-5 is very difficult to find.

I have always enjoyed the 4" barrel on an "N" frame and would like to find a 25-5 so equipped. I'll keep looking or build one if I can't find one. That's how I got my 45 ACP with a skinny 4" barrel.

Keep posting the photos, I love seeing them.
