I bought this old Rem pump a few days ago. The old gun has a bad refinish on the wood and a fair refinish on the metal. The old rear sight was what drew me to the gun. Anybody out there have any ideas on where I could find
the parts to repair it. The sight is a Marbles with the third screw at the rear. Do I need to look for the disk or the complete stem &iDisk. Here are a couple of pics.

You will need a stem and possibly a disc as well. Some of those sights had the aperture built into the stem. Others were designed for use with a separate, removable disc. In either case , the stem was adjustable for height and the adjustment range determined the overall design of the stem for each rifle model.
My Stevens 44 has a long stem because of the drop in the stock.
