I have a Model 10-5 4 inch barrel that has never been fired. I have the original box of ammo purchased with the gun in 1970, has a sticker price of
$5.00 on the ammo box. I have the original box for the gun and all associated paperwork that came with it.

I'm wanting to sell the gun for a fair price, any ideas of the value?
Thanks for your help!

welcome01 to the forums from the Wiregrass! It's hard to say. On the one hand, it is a NIB S&W. On the other hand, it is a common model without any distinguishing provenance. Your best bet is to check the completed auctions on gunbroker.com for what similar examples have sold for recently. I would guess somewhere around $700 is in the ballpark.

I agree with WiseGuy.

The revolver with the box and accessories and ammo should bring $700 from the right buyer. It shouldn't have a turn ring.
