The Renickle doesn't help this gun, but being that it's factory it doesn't hurt it too much either.... makes the revolver a kinda interesting field gun.
However, long tubed, early 48's are collectible and to get absolutely top dollar the gun would have had to be all origional.
Even as a shooter this 48 should be worth $450 or so.... maybe a little more depending upon your location. Around here that would be about the end of the road....
