Good choice, Rex Applegate belonged to the same gun club I do and I discussed fighting knives with him. He said the Sykes Fairbairn was good but it's big weakness was the round grip which tended to slip in the hand when it was wet with blood etc. It was also hard to index the blade in the dark.
