Here is a nice 1950 M&P that uses some pre war parts...

A nice old gun that looks to be unfired.

Chuck, Got one just like it but with a 4" Tube.... Serial is C209,2XX. Is that number close to yours? Oh and mine is a little more "Seasoned".... :p

Rimfired, your era Military & Police snub nose is hands down the best looking snub nose revolver there is. I know because I have one from the 1948-51 period. I believe that the K-frames from that era all had what is referred to as the speed hammer.

One of these days, I'll figure out how to post a picture on these new fangled computers, an I'll get er posted.

Model 10-2. 4 screws. Don't know the year offhand, '58 maybe.

1926. I've never taken a picture of this one I thought was any good, that I liked. The nickel combined with those dark grips just seems to kick my a$$ when it comes to getting a good portrait of this gun.

I don't have anything that everybody hasn't seen before.

This one.

And these two.

Those three are the only pre-model M&Ps I currently own.

Drew,

Mine is less than 200 numbers from yours... so must have been very close to the same time...

Another M&P

This one is a Military & Police Model of 1950... in .45 ACP. This, of course is the successor to the M1917 with post war features...

Sort of a 1905 of steroids....

Speaking of a 1905 on steroids, there is this M&P....

Lots of nice M&Ps posted in in this thread... I have enjoyed seeing them.

Thanks to Drew for the outstanding grips on this one.

13-3 and 13-4 wearing factory rubbers and keeping an eye on my 625 .45 Colt Mtn Gun.
