Nice rifle.
Here's my professional opinion of it. There's too much stuff on it.... that's a lot of unnecessary added weight.
Get rid of the flip up sights and that angled or vertical grip, whichever it is. I strongly recommend choosing one or the other and get one that's dedicated to the purpose, functional, but lightweight.
And what is that item on the left side, just in front of the switchpad for the light?
As the expression goes, "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should."

I will get rid of the flipup sight I guess. Only put it on in event the Red Dot sight’s battery went dead to give a vertical reference. Put the angle rail to keep light closer to the gun but will remove it and mount the light onto right hand rail. Was trying to minimize damage to it. I do agree about weight, all else stays
Thanks for your expertise
I think you'll like the MOE handguard!. IT's well made and infinitely comfortable too.

With your setup the flip up sights will most likely never be needed. For your electronic sights to fail, something major would have to happen to them, like dropping your rifle down a flight of concrete stairs. That equipment is built so well these days it'll stand up to some serious abuse. and in the tim it would take to get them out of the way so you could use the flip ups you could get off 5 or 6 clean shots just from dead reckoning.
It's a really good setup, but as you use your rifle more and more you'll learn to trust what you have, and will more than likely be removing a few of those attachment because you'll discover the accessories you need, and those that are taking up real estate and adding weight. Even a few ounces can make a big diference in the way your rifle handles. I have nearly all of my AR's down to either a 1-6, or a 1-8 scope, and a Magpul angled foregrip. On my CQB I've added 45 degree offset irons.

The biggest problem I see coming down the line for you will be the realization that just one or two AR's can't fill all of your shooting needs, and possibly desires. So far I'm at 8 or 9 AR's Each is uniquely different from the others. A couple are strictly for fun and wasting ammo, and a couple are purpose driven, but there always seems to be the desire to add another. I just bought a Franklin Armory Binary lower receiver, and I can't decide if I want to build a pistol, or another rifle with it.
So many decisions.

Enjoy the chase and challenges, they're all yours to enjoy and ponder over. Have fun, learn as you go, and most of all, please be safe!!

In high regards,
Gregory
