First post, the slide release is beyond stiff you need to assist the slide to release it, obviously it’s not how it’s supposed to work. Is there a fix for this I’m assuming a gunsmith? Surprised it leaves the factory like that, but the sales guy said they’re all like that.

Thanks , Dale

Try leaving the slide locked back for a week.
Is this a normal thing for this series? Is it a spring problem, or just new? If that doesn’t work is this something a gunsmith can fix? Ive only partial use of my left hand hence the EZ model, but I can rack it just fine. Releasing it’s just a hassle.

Thanks.

If slide stops were built to work easily , lock back on last round may become erratic. I have never used the stop to drop the slide on any of my semis.

Doesn’t seem like a big deal then, I’ll assume it’s break in a bit with use, I’ll work around it. Thanks all for the input. I’m not much of a handgun guy, strictly for home, but most of my shooting has been with GI .45 and they were all well beyond broken in.
