Hello all
I’m a novice that just inherited my grandfather’s s&w. I believe it is a s&w 1905 model hand eject .32 - nickel plate and pearl stocks (plastic??)

Serial numbers on butt and barrel match 22841

What resources can I utilize to learn more about this gun.

If the grips are heavy, they're real MOP.

To expand on what Waidmann said...

Yours is perhaps better known as the .32 Hand Ejector. It uses the smaller I-frame, which was intended for the .32. The I-frame eventually evolved into the J-frame.

The 1905 uses the larger K-frame, intended for the .38.
