North Georgia shooter transitioning from my dominant 9mm (Glocks mostly) of the past 20 years to more .45 (1911s) and .38/.357 (from my youth) because I've got scads of brass for those and I haven't saved any of the 120K odd 9mm I shot over that period. :(

Here are the K-38 and K-22 my dad brought into the family in 1967. I've shot them a good deal over the years and they're going strong.

Welcome to the forum. Look into Dan Wesson .45 M1911a1 pistols if you're in process of acquiring some.

Welcome to the forum from a fellow NE Georgian. Those are some nice family revolvers. I have a K-38 and they are definitely tack drivers.

Welcome from Lake Sinclair. Two great revolvers. They make a nice duo at the range. Not a Glock fab personally, but after you pick up a 1911 or 2 in .45, look around for one in 9mm too. Lots of fun to shoot.

Never too many S&W revolvers or quality 1911s!

1911s in .45 include a Wilson CQB Elite, a SA LB Operator stock, a SA Lightweight Operator lightly tuned at SACS and a SA 9mm Operator heavily worked over by Dave Sams to the point of 10 rounds into an inch at 50 yds from his machine rest. :D

Box stock LB Operator @25 yards

9mm tuned by Dave Sams @ 30 yards damn called flyer!

What makes me want to cry are the classic wheelies I've owned and did not hold onto.

Not one but TWO Model 58s that were my carry guns for a couple years in the 80s.
A cosmetically beat up but mechanically great 6.5" Registered Magnum.
Both a 6" and 8 3/8" Model 57s
Several Model 10s 2"/5"/6"
Model 15 sold to a buddy, can't get him to sell it back ;)
Model 19s 2.5"/4"/6"
Pre Model 27 3.5"
Model 27 6"
Model 28 6"
Model 29 6"

Looking back at that list y'all should just ban me now. :(

I miss the .41 magnums more than any, especially the 58s.
