At the same gun show where I found my 629, I grabbed this Ruger New Model Blackhawk Bisley, in .45 Colt. The previous owner had just traded it for a stainless model. I decided it was too nice not to come home with me. I guess I'm a sucker for the stuff chambered in .44 and .45.
One of these days I'm going to try one of those Bisley models
After the commander length 1911, another Highway Patrolman {or two} and I'm thinking a 4" 686 or 586, and a ,,,, ooopps, this ain't the "Wish List" is it
Of the two, I like the 629 better than the Ruger Bisley. I never noticed the trigger on the Bisley before. Different contour than the standard model. I like it.
very nice looking Bisley...this past weekend there was a guy had one of those, as well as the same model but in 44 magnum, for sale......I got the 44 mag one for a buddy and he just loves it... kfjdrfirii
