My three 686 no dash 4in, 686-1 6inch, 686-3 6 inch Midnight black. I shoot the 686 no dash slot. The other two are safe queens. I have posted all before, but I really like all of them. I shoot the no dash with hogues to save the stocks.
Here is my only L frame. A ex Iowa State Patrol 686 no dash from about 1982. Came with the history of the trooper who carried it and a ISP shoulder patch. Note the factory combat grips.

I wanted to add that before joining this forum, I didnt know what a 686 was, but found out pretty darn quick. The 4", no dash was the first S&W revolver I ever bought. It was the second S&W I owned, but the first was given to me. It was a 1955, pre model 10. now I have 3 or them and wouldnt mind a 4th
I have been on a quiet subdued look for a 586 but it would have to be prelock. Waiting for that special opportunity like the 28 I got hold of. I know its out there at a price that wont make my wife kill me in my sleep and the search is half the fun.
