I know u said colts, but I love 1911s so I had to put a few of mine up , top one is the only one marked colt , second one is from 1952 made in Argentina on colt equipment, last my custom titan .

A little heads up if you are inquiring about a factory letter concerning your Colt. I just received a note from them. About 14 weeks turn around time.. I'm at 12 weeks.

Wow, we've got a passel of fine looking 1911's around here.........and like the rest of ya, I have a few hanging around my stable.

Here's one that received pretty much a full custom treatment from a local Phoenix son "Frank Glenn".........

Note the serial# suffix of "H". It's believed the H stands for "Hebard". Gil Hebard was the exclusive distributor of the Kit pistols, both .38 Special and .45ACP

Here's a Colt .45ACP Government Model (1978) customized into a 6" "Long Heavy Slide" .45 bullseye pistol by Clark Custom Guns. Thats the original pistol pouch the pistol was sent in from Clark Custom. Note the mis-spelled "Kiethville", should have been Keithville, LA.
