I was fortunate to win a set of Herret stocks from gtivan last week and they showed up in yesterday's mail, soooo, figured you might want to see how they look on my 28-2! I like the feel of them. I hope to actually get out to shoot during one of the next two weekends and I'm going to keep these on for a try. Thanks again for the gracious Karma gift!

Darn it Mick, I have friends showing up from San Diego in just a few minutes as the Padres spring game is ending up and I'm sucked up with company for the rest of the weekend, otherwise I'd be there! However, I will be heading that way to do my "lead letting" when I do finally get loose. BTW, we break out from Miller Road, northside of I-10, by the Buckeye electric substation on the dirt road, run west and pick up the Liberty power line access road, which is north-west, then out the County Park fence line to the open areas. There are a couple of good hills that provide great back-stop shooting locations. They're miles from any structure with very few 2-legged animals. So now I'm missing a shoot opportunity, coffee and a potential meal? Man, I need to stay away from this forum, I was in a reasonably good mood before I read this! :mrgreen:

Herrett stocks to me are some of the best feeling I've ever tried, and I always keep my eye's open for them at gunshows and on line. BC2, those look great!!!

Ditto what Leighton said about Herrett stocks! A lot of thought and shooter input went into all of their designs. That's why they're still around.
