I have been drooling over everyone's K-22's on the forum but couldn't find one I liked. The price was too high or the finish wasn't good enough. Today I found one. It's a 48-4 from 1981 (I think). It came equipped with Pachy's and a holster. I cleaned it up and put some targets on it. My son turns 12 next month and I want to give it to him. He does well with his 22lr's but I didn't want to get him a 38/357 just yet. I suppose this will work for the next few years we go shooting or hunting. James

I'm very partial to the mags in all cals. Mine's a little newer, a 648 I got a few years back.

Your's looks great.

You and your son will really like the upgrade from the 22lr.

Thanks guys, I have never seen a 648 in person. At the last gunshow, I passed on a very clean 617 with a scope. I think this will be better for my son, and of course he is not old enough to own it but I'll take good care of it for him when he isn't shooting it. O

Thats a good looking gun. I got one just like it.Better stock up on ammo for it though its going up up up. It isnt cheap right now.I been paying 10 something almost 11 bucks a box at walmart for the cci maxi-mag hp.
