Verah nice.
Would love to have a pre-29! I have a couple pre-model 27's and just love the old school 5-screws!.

The only words that come to mind are Oh My! It does not look as if it has seen much holster time, more of a bench gun with that very limited wear. Some grandkid better appreciate what they are getting!
Thats a keeper for sure, still have to shoot it.
I will absolutely 100 % be shooting this!! Just got some ammo the other day. 44 Mag isn’t cheap!
. Someone has shown that one a lot of love over the years! Congratulations on a great find!
It was actually pretty nasty when i got it. And it didn’t have the correct stocks. I’m pretty happy with the way it has turned out! Thank you!

Ammogeddon added three new calibers to my reloading bench...44mag, 44 s&w, 45 Colt. Not terribly bad to reload but while the prices have come down some and inventory is available, NIB ammo is still too expensive to plink with for sure!

Get a letter from S&W l would not shoot it. That revolver is worth thousands of dollars.
Thanks for showing a very nice revolver
Those are a lot of fun to shoot with .44 Special ammo. I don’t enjoy the recoil of .44 Magnum ammo.
