My newest addition to my “keep forever” collection! 1956/57 (will add SN if someone can tell for sure!) Pre Model 29, 5 Screw!!

Nice! Looks all original with the cokes. If your serial is from S140,000 - S149,999, then yes on 1955/1956.

My serial number is S166396. Best i could tell was late 56’ or 57’. I plan on getting a letter for it.

Here are some known ship dates of N frame S-series serials. Pre-Model serial S165014 shipped in March 1956. Pre-Model serial S166624 shipped in September 1956. So, that may bracket your Pre-29 until you can get an Historian's letter.
