1st off, welcome to the friendliest gun forum on the net. This is how crazy it may become in a real crisis.
You had better start buying your guns and ammo now, before the Corona virus causes total panic, and the gun and ammo prices go thru the roof. It will happen if this mess continues. People will do whatever they can to protect their toilet paper and hand sanitizer no matter what. There was a huge gun run and ammo shortage shortly after the Marjory Stoneman-Douglas massacre. It took roughly 9 years for the 22LR ammo to get back in stock thru most retailers. Back then the prices for a brick of 500 rounds jumped from $10-15 per brick before the shooting, up to $50-75 immediately after, and that was if you could find it at all. You probably won't need to stockpile ammo right now, but getting a reasonable supply with a box or two of what you shoot the most wouldn't be a bad idea.
Getting information on guns will be so much easier, because most of the members here will be quarantined, and they'll have nothing better to do than sit at home on their computers, and share their great wealth of info.
Lots of knowledgeable and friendly folks here. We don't flame each other, we tolerate mistakes, heck they even tolerate me now and again...! So pull up a stump and set a spell - tell us about yerself and your interests. Spin us a tale, long short or tall, we like 'em all.
