As you know, I just bought a J.C. Higgins Model 50 (Sears Roebuck and Co.) Cal.: .30-06 Mauser action made by FN of Belgium. It's a fine old hunting rifle, like I wanted for a long time. (I love older guns. ;) ) It has a Noble 4X scope (Japan). I like this rifle!!!! ;)

Anyway, I'm just curious about this rifle. Could anybody give me more info about it? An old ad would be interesting to see. Doesn't seem to have a serial number, but I tend to think it might be from the 50's-60's era....... when Sears used to sell firearms. Bob

Thank you, Forrester!!! ;) Apparently, this is the type of quality rifle that I wanted. I won't have to spend a fortune, getting a Winchester
M-70 out of Drew's hands. Bob
