It was a beautiful, sunny day in the low to mid 70’s here in NW Pennsylvania, perfect for a range trip. I brought my 2.5 inch model 686, my 9mm Shield and my 442. Curt had his Ruger SP101, model 67 and his XD mod2 subcompact 45. Tim had his 40 caliber Shield which didnt make the picture.

We started off with a drill I made up. 3 shapes and 3 colors. While drawing the gun someone yells a color or a shape. Shooter puts 2 shots on each of the shapes or colors called. Here is Curt shooting the drill with his 45

We set up a zipline to give us a moving target. The pink plate is connected to the release

We can change the angle of the target hanging from the line. Here it is coming towards me

Have a few more. I shot this with my model 442, offhand at 20 feet

Shot it with my 686 and Curts model 67, then Tim shot at it with my 686
It wasn’t long until we had this. Shots at 9:00 and 12:00 were intentional since there wasn’t much middle left

Here is a series with Curt and the
zipline. In the first shot he has just hit the trigger plate, which is in the process of falling

Always a great day at the range. Glad I have the opportunity to enjoy this time with good friends and an ample supply of reloads.
