So I'll try it again.

I love just about anything Mauser. I had a beautiful CZ BRNO commercial small ring 98 in 7x57 with the full stock that was made in the early 1950s but it was stolen in 1986. I have sought a replacement but they are very hard to find. Anyway, I did find the half stock version up for auction and I bagged it. It arrived today and it's a beaut. What's weird is that the serial on the stolen gun is 34630 and the serial on this new one is 34635. Only 5 digits higher.

The rifle is very graceful and elegant and the cartridge is outstanding. I have a 7X57 and the round is one of my very favorites. I have a plebeian ol' Interarms Mark X but it shoots nicely. Your rifle is so much more attractive with features I like.
