OK, I take back half of it, anyway.

I just saw a photo of a 3" M49. Wow. To me that is one of the ugliest guns ever made. That humpback frame doesn't help the aesthetics and the longer barrel just pushes it right over the edge of repulsiveness.

The bodyguards (models 38 & 49) are definitely an "acquired taste". I used to despise them at one point long ago, but now like em. BUT, only in 2" versions! Them 3"ers are HIDEOUS!!! (no offense meant to those that own them UGLY things! )

If you're truly not kidding around by your post, try looking up "SMITH & WESSON bodyguard".

Now lets see does this mean rugers are only half ugly or only half of them are ugly.I must agree about the 49 though.They to me are uglier than a mud fence with any length barrel.So are the colt detectives with the funky attachment that covers the hammer.But of course we cannot leave out the snub nosed Ruger single actions.Or the glocks that look like a shoe box with a squirtgun grip.
