Governor of Nebraska declared a state of emergency. In his video he stated he has not banned public assembling, yet. I pointed out he has no authority to do so under the US Constitution. Cannot even trust a Republican governor in Nebraska.

Least little hiccup and the Constitution goes out the window.

The ammo rush is hitting here. Academy has started limiting people to 3 boxes of ammo to a visit. They had 9mm and 22, most others were pretty well sold out. I went looking for .40 and all they had was CCI shotshell. Atwood's, a local farm and ranch store, was out of 40 too. But they still had lots of Blazer Brass 9mm at $12.99/ box of 50. So, I bought a few boxes of 9mm.

Yesterday, I bought 2 more boxes of Win. 9mm. 147Gr. JHP.....just to be safe and secure. I've got over 200 rds. of 9 mm. in the safe......plus lots of ammo for every one of my guns. The shop owner said "I can't keep up with the demand, neither can the distributer, and the ammo manufacturers!!!!" Other things, like food, sanitizer. toilet paper, etc., are getting in short supply at the stores. There's plenty of cheap gas to be had, as the price drops below $2/gal.!!!! kfjdrfiriiweiweinp Now....if we don't run out of food and TP..........we're safe at both ends!!!!nbhaof Bob

Very large gun shop in my area has an anniversary sale the 3rd weekend of March each year. his year is the 36th anniversary. They have many factory reps and vendors in for the sale. It has been postponed and the shop is closed. you can phone in orders for a later pickup or have them shipped. That will slow sales

One of Lincoln's gun stors/indoor ranges, posted on Facebook that they are restocking ammo daily no need to panic. They are also reminding people that they have a lay away plan for guns.

I read some sheriff's having 4 times as many people applying for Nebraska's hand gun purchase permit a day. Haven't heard about conceal carry applications (state patrol).

One of the area classifieds I check has a lot of listings for ammo right now. A good many are for cases of ammo or large bulk packs. Must be the people that went in and cleaned out the ammo inventory. Here in PA, our liberal socialist governor decided gun shops were not essential businesses so for some it may be the only option to purchase ammo. On the plus side, most of it seems to be not marked up a whole lot

The fed cant force the state to open them, it is up to the state, but when issuing their guidelines they did say gun shops were essential. I believe the state closing them was challenged in court and the governor won. The shops won the right to be open under certain conditions and I believe they had to do customers by appointment only. The result is that at least the ones around here are pretty much closed according to their websites. One of them will allow you to place online or call in orders and you can pick up your stuff when they open

Nice thing about owning odd caliber guns. Prices are steady and the stuff's available.
Not likely to have runs on .32 Long and .38 S&W. :)
