Hi everybody! I own a S&W Model 66 in 357 Mag for midwest woods black bear protection. The bear population has proliferated as more folks have moved to these big cities & quit hunting :-( But I won't give up & have my 2 sons graduated from Hunter's Safety Training & with me.

I figured I'd better get with modern times & join this forum. Besides, I'm looking for another S&W that is out of production: Model 625 Mountain Gun for a camp bear protection for a long-planned elk hunt out west. This revolver is in caliber 45 Long Colt that can handle "+P" custom loads from Corbon or Buffalo Bore, yielding similar ballistics performance to 44 mag (Model 629 Mountain Gun still in production) but with significantly lower recoil (lower peak pressure over bigger diameter). Anybody want to sell theirs?

Let me know. Thanks! :)

Glad to see you found the forum, and I sure hope you'll enjoy the site.
We have a similar 'warming up' going on here.
