I'm with you Bill. These modern guns just don't seem to have the same 'soul' as the 1946-1970's era guns.

I confess to having a 17-5 and a 17-6, but S&W really lost me when in later -numbers they went to aluminum, 10-shot cylinders and full underlugs. Just not the same gun.
