Hi my name is Cricket and I have a top load 38 or at least I believe I do. Can anyone help me with the numbers and identify it for me. I have checked and at 3 places on this revolver the numbers match.

38 double action - 3rd/4th model depending on serial number..

made between 1882-1909

I was going to say 5th model, but I'm no expert on these older jobs. I don't think the break-tops started until 1870s.
