I posted this elsewhere but give it a shot here, too.
First time loading this caliber so please don't laff at my question. The .32 S&W Long case measures .920". The bullets are .422" long. Several sources I have checked call for an OAL of 1.280". If you do the math, that means only about .062" (1/16?) is being seated. Is that a sufficient depth or am I missing something here? Thanx for any help.

Maximum Over All Length is just that. You can go shorter but not longer. Seat to a depth that works for you and lock your seating die to that depth. You can buy loaded cartridges that use a full wad cutter that is seated at the mouth of the case for an overall length of just .920"

When not shooting WCs, I shoot SWCs and seat to the crimp groove, regardless of the OAL
