Honestly, the forum admin should consider a way to charge a small fee for answering folks that join, demand answers and vanish.

Wow ! Thanx for your support. I appreciate the friendliness!? Please don't bash someone you dont know. I'm new to this site but not going anywhere.
Don’t fret. There’s more than one curmudgeon here but overall, as also highlighted in this thread, people perfectly willing to lend a hand.

It is an European American Armory EA40, chambered in 40 S&W. Look up EAA EA40 to figure out the particulars.

Welcome aboard! We are glad to have you.
I've made the same mistake on a different forum. It's good to introduce your self first and ask your question in a separate post.
Not bashing... Like I said have done the same thing on another forum when I first joined. I lerked for years, kind of learned who the players were, and who was knowledgeable, and who was not. So, then joined when I was looking for an answer, and the reception was colder than I had envisioned it would be.

These places are a bit like a coffee shop in a small town... The guys sitting at the tables are friendly for the most part, but if a stranger from another town walks up, sits down and tries to join a conversation that is going on, the reception is not always warm.
On a side note... Your guns is of good quality, and a mag should be available.

Thank you. I purchased a magizine I was told would work. It does not. I purchased a mag for a Baretta 96/.40 cal S/W. I found out it was the wrong one. Thanx for your help.

I used to work with a guy that had an EAA only in 45, and wanted an extra mag.
He bought one, on line, and it did not fit. After that he was afraid to try again.
I took him, and the gun to the big Tulsa OK and he was able to buy one that worked.
He tried the fitment before he bought it, and after that the gun ran well. He used to come out to the house and shoot it once in a while. Like I said, they are pretty good guns.

That makes me feel good about it. I have ran 8-10 boxes through it,and like it so far. Reloading one magazine stinks though! Cant wait to get more. Thanx for your help.

While I wouldn't expect magazine compatibility (I really don't know), that is effectively a clone of the CZ-75 pistol...

Welcome to the forum. If you like this, we really know about Smith and Wesson firearms...
