Hello, been learning from you generous folks for a while now but have not posted much. I am very limited in my knowledge of revolvers.

I picked a 586-3 last night and it has Hogue rubber grips, I would like to remove them for a thorough polishing. The grip has a large screw at the bottom unlike my other guns, thought I would ask before removing the screw and pulling the grips apart. Thank you in advance for any help.

Vis take the screw out, then just pull down on the grip.
