Picked up my Model 29-3 off layaway today and put some Badger grips on it to replace the K-Frame grips someone had put on it when they sold it to the pawn shop
The hammer on yours looks just like the hammer on my nickel 29-3. They seem to have more of a curve to the cocking piece. I wonder if these were factory hammers or if they had been modified. If modified it's interesting that the only 2 I've seen like this are on 29-3's. Here is mine-
My 29-2 had Goodyears on it when I bought it, but some kind soul here at the Forum had the proper grips for it. It is now complete and Inspector Calahan (Dirty Harry) would be proud.
