I just brought home a Victory model pistol. It's a "K" frame with a 4 inch barrel. Overall it's in good shape and marked for 38 special ammo. I called S&W and they told me it was made between 1942 and 1945. I'm assuming it will handle normal 38 rounds.
When I convince my computer t let me post a couple shots, I'll get them loaded.
Here it is, with a descendant, a model 64. Oddly enough, my speed loaders fit it.
Out of curiosity, what do you think it's worth?
It might make an interesting piece next to my Type 26 revolver.
Not surprising since they are basically the same M&P gun that's been made since 1905. It looks like a Victory but the finish is not what I would expect. I wouldn't trust S&W CS to give you accurate info on this old a gun. If you will share the serial number with us, maybe we can tell you more.
