About 10-12 years ago, I foolishly sold my Ruger Wiley Clapp GP 100 .357 to a close friend who I have known for at least 35 years who has a massive collection of firearms and knives. He is one who when you sell or trade him something, that's it, you will never get it back. Or so I thought. This week he calls me and said he has decided to sell some of his items and wanted to know if I wanted the Ruger back. It took me about 1/2 second to say yes. I have been bugging him for years trying to get it back. He said he would sell it to me at the same price that I sold it to him years ago-$500. Like me, he is getting older with some medical issues and is letting some of this guns go. This thing is a beast and a great shooter. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Sweet! I bought my 1st .357 and it was a 3" GP100. Built like a tank and I actually CC'd it for a short time. Sold it a few years ago for a nice profit to finance the purchase of my nickel 15-3. No regrets. Glad you got your revolver back.

I have always liked those and wanted to pick one up if the opportunity arose. I'm glad you got it back.
I have always wished Ruger would make a regular run of gp100's with security six contour barrels.
