Welcome to the forum. A 2.5" model 66. I don't have my reference handy, but it was made around 1983-1984 Those are VERY desirable right now and sell for good money if in good working condition. In an auction setting they sometimes get $900 and up, but you pay sellers fees. A good real world face to face sale value would be in the $750-800 range. If you have the original box and papers they would add about $100

Hey Miss S,

Sorry to hear of your loss...

That is a great revolver!

I would keep it and use it well.....(they do not make anything like it, today!)

Later, Mark

Hi and welcome to the forum. The 66 is a beauty and as others have stated very desirable in the 2.5" version. If you decide to keep it, the revolver is a sweet shooter with .38spl/P+ rounds.
