New here with a question, where will I find the meaning of dash numbers ?
I have a 629-6 being held in Kalifornia Kustoms for 10 days.What do I have other than .44 Mag?

Appears to be manufactured between 2001 and 2005. the -6 is the introduction of the Internal Lock... dashes are design changes. Anytime there is a change, it gets a new dash #.

Dash numbers can also be {to borrow a Bogart line}, 'The stuff that dreams are made of' in the case of some of the -1 models {Highway Patrolman comes to mind :mrgreen: }
and if you stick around here very long, you won't be an old grump
