.22 caliber flattop 'flatgate' Single-Six.
This is the model that put Bill Ruger's single-action business on the map.
The gun shown here is a 'variant 4', from the final series flatgates.

Nice one Don, we have always liked them single action .22's, my wifes "favorites"...here is one of HERS that is the "first' variation, wish we could say "first year" but they only made 49 guns in 1953........

Nice gun Don,

Here is my version of a Hollywood Flatgate. Someone put a High Polish to it so I added a polished gripframe. Serial # 34210. it kind of looks like an RSSE without all the scratches on it.

The holster and the bandoleer are both vintage George Lawrence. The holster and the gun were purchased together by the original owner. I added the bandoleer...
