First malfunction since I bought the gun new in October of 2012.
Had it at the range yesterday and had a failure to feed, followed by another failure to feed. When I popped out the magazine I could see the top round was not pushed up against the feed lips. In this picture you can see the follower on the bottom mag is not right

When I got home I noticed you could see the spring wire running vertically through the holes in the magazine body. Bad mag on left

Took it apart and found this

I used this magazine at least once before the malfunction. When it malfunctioned there were 3 rounds in the 7 round magazine, so it worked for 4 rounds all bent up

This is how it ended up once I pulled apart where it was jammed.
This was the original 7 round magazine that came with the gun. I have never had it apart for cleaning. When loading magazines at the range yesterday, at one point I remember trying to stuff 1 more in, then deciding it was full. Not sure if that was this mag or not, but if so I may have pushed too hard and caused the spring to jam up in the mag

It could have been worse. A new spring and you should be back in action.
